Joel A. Eckhardt was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2013, and is currently a member of the Tarrant County Bar Association.
Joel focuses his practice on all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisition and disposition, leasing, commercial development and entity structuring and financing. He has represented landowners and property developers in connection with projects ranging up to $200 million in assets. He was recognized in 2018 as a Top Attorney in Real Estate Law by Fort Worth, Texas magazine.
Joel received his J.D. degree from The University of Texas School of Law in 2013. During law school, he served as Director of Street Law (a community-service orientated organization aimed at teaching basic legal principles to grade-school students) and as Board Member of the Texas Journal on Civil Liberties and Civil Rights and the Texas Review of Entertainment and Sports Law. He received his B.A. degree in Political Science, magna cum laude, from Texas Christian University in 2009 and is a proud native of the Fort Worth area. Prior to attending law school, he worked for the Fort Worth Independent School District, where he created and facilitated programs to keep students actively engaged in the college preparation process.
Outside of his legal practice, Joel enjoys TCU Football, Texas Rangers Baseball and spending time with his wife and family.
