Jack E. Larson was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1989.

Mr. Larson received his J.D. degree from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1989.  While in law school, Mr. Larson was a member of Phi Delta Phi and was assistant to Professor Earnest L. Folk III, professor in the areas of corporations and intellectual property.

Mr. Larson received his B.B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Texas Christian University in 1986.  Mr. Larson was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, Mortar Board and Alpha Lambda Delta.

Mr. Larson's practice involves a wide range of business and commercial matters, with special expertise in construction issues and design, construction and specialized technical service and consulting contracts.

Mr. Larson has written and lectured on construction law topics, and is the co-author of  "Construction Insurance Issues Affecting the Owner/Lender: Does Your Contract Have You Covered?" The University of Texas Annual Mortgage Lending Institute, Fall 1993 and the co-author of "The AIA Construction Documents Protecting the Owner's Interests," State Bar of Texas Advanced Real Estate Drafting Course, Spring 1993.  He is also the co-author of "Get the Lead Paint Out-Into the Open," 12 The Practical Real Estate Lawyer, No. 6, November 1996.

Mr. Larson served as an adjunct professor at Texas Wesleyan University from 1995 through 1999, teaching in the areas of real estate law and legal research and writing.  Mr. Larson is a Fellow of the Tarrant County Bar Foundation and a member of the Tarrant County Bar Association.

Mr. Larson is President of the TCU National Alumni Association and serves as an Ex Officio member of the TCU Board of Trustees. He is a past Chairman of the TCU Clark Society Board of Directors.

Mr. Larson is immediate past Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Arts Council of Fort Worth and Tarrant County. He currently serves as Board Secretary for the Kids Who Care, Inc. Board of Directors, Vice President of the Ballet Concerto, Inc. Board of Directors and a member of the Fort Worth Symphony's Vivace Steering Committee.

Mr. Larson also currently serves as a member of the ACH Family Services Board of Directors and serves on the Citizens Oversight Committee for the Fort Worth Independent School District Capital Improvement Program. He is a member of the Lily B. Clayton Elementary PTA Board and is a past member of the school's Site-Based Decision Making Team.

Mr. Larson served as Chairman of the YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth Board of Directors and as Chairman of the Camp Carter YMCA Board of Managers. In 2010, he received the Chi Rho Award for long-term dedicated volunteerism from the YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth. He is also a past recipient of the Henry Meadows Volunteer of the Year Award for his service to the Camp Carter YMCA.

Mr. Larson is a member of Leadership Fort Worth and was named one of Fort Worth's Top 40 under 40 by the Fort Worth Business Press in 2004.

Mr. Larson lives in the Berkeley Neighborhood in Fort Worth with his wife, Nancy, and their two children, Benjamin and Marguerite.
