Jack Larson was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1989.

Education

Mr. Larson received his J.D. degree from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1989. While in law school, Mr. Larson was a member of Phi Delta Phi and was assistant to Professor Earnest L. Folk III, professor in the areas of corporations and intellectual property.

Mr. Larson received his B.B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from TCU in 1986. Mr. Larson served as TCU Student Body President and was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, Mortar Board and Alpha Lambda Delta.

Professional Practice & Activities

Mr. Larson’s practice involves a wide range of business and commercial matters with special emphasis on real estate and real estate-related transactions. He served as an adjunct professor at Texas Wesleyan University from 1995 through 1999, teaching in the areas of real estate law and legal research and writing.

Mr. Larson is a Sustaining Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation and a Fellow of the Tarrant County Bar Association.

Mr. Larson has been recognized as one of Fort Worth’s Most Influential People by Fort Worth, Inc. Magazine, and as a Top Attorney by Fort Worth Magazine and 360 Magazine.

Community Service

Mr. Larson currently serves as Chair of the TCU AddRan College Board of Visitors. He previously served as President of the TCU National Alumni Association and as a member of the TCU Board of Trustees. He is also a past Chair of the TCU Clark Society Board of Directors. In 2015, Mr. Larson was the recipient of the TCU Alumni Service Award.

Mr. Larson serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors for Performance Santa Fe. He also serves as Secretary of the Board of Directors for the Performance Santa Fe Foundation. He has previously served as President of the Board of Directors for KWC Performing Arts and as Vice President of the Board of Directors for Ballet Concerto. Mr. Larson is a past Chair of the Board of Directors for the Arts Council of Fort Worth.

Mr. Larson serves on The Women’s Center of Tarrant County Foundation Board of Directors. He is a past member of the Board of Directors for ACH Child and Family Services and currently serves as an ACH Community Ambassador. He is also a past member of the Citizens Oversight Committee for the Fort Worth Independent School District Capital Improvement Program and held numerous leadership roles at his children’s schools.

Mr. Larson is a past Chair of the YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth Board of Directors and a past Chair of the Camp Carter YMCA Board of Managers. In 2010, he received the Chi Rho Award for long-term dedicated volunteerism from the YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth. He is also a past recipient of the Henry Meadows Volunteer of the Year Award for his service to the Camp Carter YMCA.

Mr. Larson is a member of Leadership Fort Worth and was named one of Fort Worth’s Top 40 under 40 by the Fort Worth Business Press in 2004.

Mr. Larson’s two children, Ben and Marguerite, are students at the University of Southern California. Ben is a junior and studies in the USC School of Dramatic Arts. His daughter, Marguerite, is a freshman and studies in the USC Leonard Davis School of Gerontology.
